Tafsir Nuzuli Karya Ulama Nusantara: Studi atas Kitab Tafsir Sinar Karya Abdul Malik Ahmad

Artikel ini menganalisis kitab Tafsir Sinar karya ulama Nusantara asal Sumatera Barat bernama Abdul Malik Ahmad (1912-1993). Kitab berbeda dengan karya-karya sezamannya, seperti Al-Azhar Buya Hamka dan Al-Mishbah Quraish Shihab karena disusun tartīb nuzūliy surah. Menggunakan penelitian library research pendekatan deskriptif-analitis, artikel bagaimana latar belakang penulisan, karakteristik atau metodologi, penafsiran dalam Sinar. Penelitian menemukan bahwa menulis tafsirnya agar spirit Al-Qur’an dipahami sebagaimana saat diturunkan pada masa awal. Dengan menerapkan sistematika penyajian yang runtut penjelasan rinci di tafsirnya, menggabungkan pemahaman bersumber dari beberapa riwayat pemikirannya, merujuk tafsir lain sebagai penguat. Gaya bahasa dipakai adalah gaya reportase tidak terikat kaidah penulisan ilmiah. Dalam proses penafsiran, ia juga melakukan fragmentasi membagi suatu surah ke kelompok ayat, kemudian menjelaskan munāsabah antar ayat tersebut.
